Horizontal window blinds are a beautiful, practical way to control the amount of light coming into your home or office. You can spend just a few dollars to hundreds on a set of blinds and choose among many materials, styles and colors. In fact, this type of blind has something for everyone!

What type of blinds you want depends on your lifestyle and lighting needs, of course. People in hot climates want to allow light in but block most of the heat that a window picks up from the sun.
